Tipton's Stores. A Drone, long and thin like a string bean,
with a beaky nose and horn-rimmed glasses, many times
engaged: to Doris Jimpson, Angela Thurloe, Vanessa Wainwright,
Barbara Bessemer, Clarice Burbank, Marcia Ferris,
and finally, in Full Moon and
Galahad at Blandings, to Veronica Wedge. The
wedding is celebrated in Birth of a Salesman on Long Island, attended by
Veronica's uncle Lord Emsworth.
