Buffy Struggles is remembered by Galahad in Galahad at Blandings and elsewhere because someone lured him into a temperance lecture illustrated with colored slides showing the liver of the drinker of alcohol. He ordered ten pounds of tea, swore off alcohol, and was dead two weeks later, run over by a hansom cab in Piccadilly, his system so weakened by tea that he was unable to dodge the vehicle.
