Claude "Mustard" Pott, private investigator in Uncle Fred in the Springtime, father of
Polly, lives at 6 Wilbraham Place, Sloane Square. A stout,
round, bald, pursy little man of about 50 with two chins and
a waddle. Former actor, club manager, and bookie who still
loves to organize (and win) betting games. Lord Ickenham
suspects him of being a defrocked butler.
