and Cambridge with Arthur Mifflin. Inherited $500,000 from
a fellow who had been in love with his late mother before
her marriage. Studied law at the Varsity but never kept it
up. An amateur boxer, has worked as an actor, waiter,
newspaper man, jeweller. Medium height, with the broad,
deep chest, square jaw, piercing brown eyes and good nature
of a bull terrier. Wins the hand of Molly McEachern.
