Horace Pendlebury-Davenport, a wealthy Drone living at 52 Bloxham Mansions, Park Lane in Uncle Fred in the Springtime, where he is engaged to Valerie Twistleton. Still engaged to Valerie in The Shadow Passes, where he successfully defends his Drones Darts championship and wins a tidy sum for Bingo Little. A young man of great height but lacking in the width of shoulder which makes height impressive, wears tortoise-shell-rimmed spectacles. Nephew to Alaric, Duke of Dunstable, the son of his late brother. His mother is a Hilsbury-Hepworth, from whom he inherits the large, fawn-like eyes that distinguish that family. In Jeeves and the Feudal Spirit he is a former Drone and last year's winner of the Darts sweep, now married to Valerie Twistleton, at whose suggestion he has resigned his Drones membership.
