Похоже игра слов:
ссылка на выражение "blow our whistles" - пропустить пару кружек. Ранше в Англии были такие свистки, которыми подзывали официанта, чтобы тот обновил напиток (видимо, для тех, кто говорить был уже не в состоянии:)
И "blowing whistle" приводится как заводской гудок, т.е в 8 все должны быть в баре.
