It looks as if EGGS, BEANS, AND CRUMPETS, which was published in the UK by Everyman
in October 2000 but had never been published in the US by Overlook, will be
published by Overlook on 28 October 2010, along with (as earlier mentioned) A
PELICAN AT BLANDINGS and A PREFECT’S UNCLE:

Does anyone know what the current plan is for volumes to be published in the
Everyman Wodehouse after May 2010 (when they’re publishing their 69th and 70th
volumes)?  I seem to recall reading years ago that the original plan was to publish
eighty volumes, and possibly more; and that the plan was not to publish the
“semi-autobiographical” books or Sunset at Blandings.  I think I assumed that, if
the plan was to publish 80 books, they were omitting the school stories; but The
Pothunters and A Prefect’s Uncle are coming out this year, so I’m hoping that maybe
now they’re planning to publish more than 80 volumes.  Are they planning to reprint,
for example, The Prince and Betty (the US version is available online in Project
Gutenberg but the UK version is harder to find) and Louder and Funnier?

I’ve done an inventory, and here are the books that, as far as I can tell
(corrections welcome), have not yet been scheduled for publication by May 2010:

Love Among the Chickens
The Prince and Betty
The Man Upstairs
The Adventures of Sally
The Small Bachelor
If I Were You
The Old Reliable
French Leave
Ice in the Bedroom
Company for Henry
The Girl in Blue
Pearls, Girls and Monty Bodkin
Bachelors Anonymous

School stories:
Tales of St. Austin’s
The Gold Bat
The Head of Kay’s
The White Feather
Mike

Essays:  Louder and Funnier

“Semi-autobiographical” books (presumably not included in plans for Everyman
edition):

Bring on the Girls
Performing Flea/Author Author
Over Seventy/America I Like You

Other (not full length book, etc., presumably not included in plans for Everyman
edition):
William Tell Again
The Globe By the Way Book
Not George Washington
The Swoop
Man of Means
Sunset at Blandings
Plays, etc.

Finally, here’s my list of what HAS been published by Everyman/Overlook (publication
